What we offer
In the field of energy Triarii supports policy makers in the full process from development of technology policy to implementation thereof. The decades of work experience of Triarii consultants is at your disposal to secure success.
Characteristics of our approach
Energy is one of the fields which in the coming decades will go through a big technological transition. Among others due to the threat of climate change. Triarii does projects on the technology front. In the recent past this have been projects in the field of carbon capture and storage, fuel cells, new types of engines, innovative design and government tools to stimulate innovation.
Statement of experience
wij sparen energie: Triari has set up a local initiative to help house buyers to make their home more energy efficient before they move in. "Buying a new home usually means renovating it before you move in. There will never be a better opportunity for you to improve the energy efficiency of your home. So, don’t waste it! By doing so you will avoid the inconvenience of any construction work. The benefit from a low energy bill will last longer. You can benefit from the availability of your low interest mortgage." More information on the English website of wij sparen energie.
Energy transition officer at the municipality of Westland: Recently the municipality of Westland (just south of The Hague) hired Robert van der Lande as energy transition officer. He will be in charge of all energy transition related matters, which will focus on powering and heating of the world class greenhouses that Westland is famous for.
R&Dialogue: As project coordinator, Triarii lead a consortium of 15 organisations and institutes from 10 European countries. The Netherlands is one of these countries. Triarii also delivers the team that organises the energy dialogue in the Netherlands. The project started in 2012 and concluded in 2016. All information: www.RnDialogue.eu.
The goal of R&Dialogue is to organise an open dialogue on energy. This dialogue is currently missing, which results in insufficient implementation of energy innovations that could transform our energy system and make our society more sustainable. A key asset of R&Dialogue is that we learn from the 10 country dialogues to deliver a European point of view for future energy dialogues.
ZEP: From 2006 to 2016 Triarii acted as the secretariat to the European Technology Platform ZEP. This is an alliance of multinationals, research organisations and NGOs that work together to make Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) a reality. CCS is a new field on which companies are organising themselves. Government policy and instruments are now being development. More info on the ZEP-website: www.zeroemissionsplatform.eu.
This large, multiyear assignment, gives Triarii a unique view of and involvement in CCS. Also, it allows us to be part of the energy system as a whole, the policies of national and European governments and the position of companies and institutions. Our network in the Dutch and European energy sector and government is highlevel, far reaching and versatile.
